School Dental Health Programs by Dr.Mallena's

Corporate Social Responsibility:

At Dr.Mallena's Dental Care foundation, we have taken the school dental health programs as a social responsibility, and with this in mind we make sure we do at least one program every year.

We have chosen initially the pre school section as we feel this is the right age when Good Oral Habits should be taught, which children maintain life long.

School Dental Health Programs (SDH):

Dr.Mallena's Dental Care foundation undertakes School dental health programs as a part of our initiative on promoting preventive dentistry early on in Indian population.

Focus is given in promoting good oral habits in young school children.

Aims of Dr.Mallena's SDH Programme

1. Oral examination of the school children.

2. To check oral diseases.

3. To guide children to get preventative, curative and restorative treatment.

4. To promote teeth brushing with proper technique and other oral cleaning methods Special focus on showing Animated videos for Urban School children.

5. Meal/diet recommendation.

6. Gross Dental awareness.
